Executive Director Update

Alan Hagyard Retires from Libraries Online

After ten years as its Executive Director, Alan Hagyard, has retired from Libraries Online. During his tenure, Alan oversaw the expansion of LION’s use of technology to provide high quality resources and services to member library patrons, maintained its reputation for dedicated service, and wisely managed its resources in an era of fiscal challenges. He leaves an impressive legacy. Libraries Online wishes Alan well as he embarks on his retirement, and we thank him for his many fine efforts on the organization’s behalf.
